The business environment in the CEE region is very active and dynamic and managers work really hard. Other essential aspects are also strong social skills and attention it human relationships. But the most critical areas still: 1. managers should take more personal responsibility together with eliminating formality and hierarchical barriers; 2. customer orientation must become the most important action for sustainable business success of companies; 3. corruption must be eradicated, and zero tolerance approach not only by managers but also by public. Of course there many differences between countries, but the themes above are common to all. Each country has its own special strengths and its own particular problems, but the future is encouraging.
