40. SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS OPERATIONS AS A RESULT OF GOOD MOTIVATION

Abstract
The previous concepts of motivational systems become insufficiently flexible, therefore it is necessary to develop and introduce new ones, which will lead to higher level of employee motivation and satisfaction, and thus to achieving a successful business performance. In order to operate successfully, each company has to find the optimum combination of tangible and intangible incentives for their employees that will depend on many factors: the sector in which it operates competition in the labor market, the nature of work, and the structure of employees. To ensure proper quality of employees in the company, it is necessary that the company chooses the right strategy of motivation, which will be accepted by the employees. The article will also present applied data from the survey on motivational statements in one of the Public enterprises in the Republic of Serbia, whereby the results point out, that in the light of worsened conditions in the economy due to the global financial crisis, the most powerful motivator for the employees is regularity of salaries. Regular earnings as a guarantee for timely servicing of financial obligations have become a natural priority.
