34. PARTICIPATIVE LEADERSHIP AS A CHANGE MANAGEMENT TOOL IN POST MERGER INTEGRATION OF AN ORGANISATION

ABSTRACT:

This paper deals with the topic of change management in post merger integration. We focus

on creation of recommendations for the implementation of participative leadership as a soft factor of change management, which helps organizations in the post merger integration of merger & acquisition projects efficiently manage organizational change, so that successful integration of both organizations is secured. The focus is on the analysis and potential implementation of participative leadership as an important tool of change management in post merger integration. We analyze and make practical recommendations for the implementation of this factor in the phases of post merger integration. On the basis of our academic research we make practical recommendations of strategies and tools for the change management in the post merger integration.
