Abstract

The aim of this paper is to highlight some of the relevant background and contextual factors of the careers of human resource managers in Hungary. We would like to offer a brief historical review of the evolution of the HRM profession first followed by an international comparative analysis of some of the critical intervenient variables affecting those HR careers by using relevant indicators included in the CRANET International Database.
