73. WOMEN IN HEAVY INDUSTRY – TO BE PROMOTED OR NOT?

Abstract

The authors try to describe the issues related to the topic of women managers in heavy industries, based

on the research done in a specific company. Discussion on gender inequalities, gender diversity, and

gender roles has been triggered. Work life balance and further training were other relevant issues

researched. The paper reveals research results achieved in questioning and individual interviews both

with females and males. Mentoring, discrimination, communication, information sharing, further training,

diversity are considered to be the bottlenecks

in female-male relationship at workplaces.
